Aluminium extrusion

Pressing of 6000-series alloys into standard and custom profiles for structural, thermal and aesthetic applications. Our extrusion capability covers profiles from simple bar stock to complex hollow geometries with internal chambers and integrated features. The 6000-series alloys give us the right balance between formability, mechanical properties and surface quality after anodising. We work with billet sizes that support press loads up to 12 metres in length, with cross-sections matched to the structural and thermal requirements of the part. Typical applications include heat sinks, frame profiles, enclosure rails and structural components for the wind, appliance and lighting industries.

Custom die development

New die design from concept and DFM review through sampling to approved series production. A custom profile starts with a conversation about geometry, tolerances and downstream operations. Our engineers review the cross-section for extrudability, wall thickness ratios, tongue ratios and corner radii — the parameters that determine whether a die runs cleanly or fights you on every press. Sampling is done before the die is released for series. Dimensional verification, surface inspection and material certification are documented up front, so the first production batch behaves like every batch after it. The die remains tied to your part number, which protects continuity across re-orders and forecast volumes.

Finishing and fabrication

Cutting, bending, machining and surface treatment integrated into the same delivery — profile arrives assembly-ready. A raw extruded length is rarely the deliverable. It needs to be cut to length, drilled, tapped, milled, bent, anodised or powder-coated, and often combined with other components before it reaches the production line. We integrate these operations into the same job, scheduled and documented as one flow rather than four separate sub-contracts. CNC machining, surface treatment and assembly run on the same QA chain as the extrusion itself, with material traceability preserved end to end. For you, that means one purchase order, one point of contact and one set of inspection records — instead of coordinating three suppliers and absorbing the lead time between them.

Design for manufacturing

Most quoting processes start with a price. Ours start with a conversation. Before we estimate a single profile, our engineers review your cross-section for extrudability, wall thickness logic, tongue ratios and corner radii — the decisions that determine whether a part runs cleanly or fights the die on every press.

The earlier we're involved, the more we can remove from your cost and lead time. A 30-minute DFM session often saves weeks of iteration later.

CNC is rarely a standalone process. We combine it with casting, forming and finishing to deliver complete components — often in a single purchase order.

Extrusion as one link in a
complete supply chain.

Most suppliers sell extrusion as a standalone service. We don't. At Pamatek, extrusion sits inside an integrated flow that runs from die design through machining and surface treatment to assembly and logistics — managed by one team, documented through one QA chain, delivered on one purchase order. That's the difference between buying a length of profile and buying a finished component ready for your production line.
